This product is great for shoving a large projector into like my Hitachi CP-X3010 however that is not exactly what I want to do with an expensive projector. I would prefer to be able to CAREFULLY place the projector into the bag but because the zippers on this bag do not go all the way down the sides of the bag you basically have to cram your projector in. Trying to get your projector out is another hassle for the same reason. Because those zippers don't extend the length of the sides of the bag you cannot get a good grip on your projector in order to easily take it out. The only zipper that goes down all the way is the front pocket zipper that is intended for pens and small items whose accessibility you probably wouldn't care much about. It makes no sense to me that they would not allow you to unzip the two most important pockets all the way down the sides. However I initially chose this bag because my projector is gargantuan and I couldn't easily find a soft case to fit its dimensions. Amazon lists this bag's dimensions at 13.8 x 16.8 x 7.1 inches. When I measured the bag it was actually 12.5 x 15 x 6.75 inches (and that was with the projector sitting in the bag). I would say that the bag's size is ok since it was larger than most soft projector carrying cases but because of those zippers hindering the accessibility of your projector my score for it is significantly lowered. Very secure transport for your projector & laptop

Overall I am very happy with this bag. I have to walk distances with my laptop and projector and before I found this bag had my laptop in one bag and my projector in another. Now everything fits in this rolling case including all my personal items.



The good news: The laptop section of the case fits my computer very snugly. I have a small laptop and the pocket adjust very nicely to secure it. I also have a larger laptop that likewise fits well. The front accessories section has a pocket or slot for most anything. For the organizationally challenged the pockets even have little tags indicating their intended use. The construction is very solid and the case is quite sturdy. There are zippered pockets throughout the case for cables and power cords.



The bad news: The only defect in the case pertains to the projector section. The pocket is a bit small for most standard projectors. The projector does fit in the pocket but its a tight fit.



The price on Amazon is excellent. I checked several luggage and bag sites and Amazon was the best price by far. Overall this case is a safe and smart way to transport your laptop and projector.

Functional -- Not the Height of Style

Well This case isn't the crem de la crem of projector cases but it doesn't cost $100 or more. If you are looking for functionality it does just fine and the price is IMHO fair for what you get. The bag fits the projector very well and the strap is comfortable for short hauls in & out of rooms which is my need. There is a side pocket the can contain the manuals cables etc. The case is black canvas and should protect well from scratches and light precipitation -- agree with the other reviewer that it doesn't have a lot of padding. This case is light and not much larger than the projector -- agree that this is a huge improvement over the box.



I'm also OK with buying the case as a separate item because this projector is as good again IMO as many that cost a lot more. Having the case as a separate item allows those who want and need a case to get one -- since some projectors get permanently parked a case isn't always needed.

Disappointed in Customer Service

I somehow ordered this product erroneously. When I tried to return it the company failed to issue an RMA number which is a company authorization for return and which is mandatory. After 3 phone calls to the company I am still waiting for an RMA. I am hoping Amazon will help me get this product returned and my money refunded.More detail ...
